User roles

  1. user: The person interacts with the traffic map.

Prerequisites / Conditions

  1. The traffic map of Norway is linked.
    This indicates that the mapping system is already configured to accommodate Norwat as a region.
  2. The API is linked.
    This ensures that the application has establised a connection to the API responsible for fetching real-time traffic data for Norway.
  3. Existing features of the map are set and work well.
    The necessary tools and functionalities within the map interface have been configured and are ready for user interaction.
  4. The user has access to the application with the existing map features.

Description of use case -eg. Modify existing request

  1. User selects region.
  2. User chooses Norway as a region to view live traffic data.
  3. Integration Request.
    The application sends a request to the backend or relevant API to fetch real-time traffic data for Norway.
  4. Display Norway Traffic Information.
    The application receives and process the traffic data for Norway.Then the traffic map updates to display the live traffic information to the frontend.
  5. User interacts with Norwegian Traffic Map.
    The user explores the traffic map of Norway, zooming in and out to view sprcific areas. The user interacts with different features on the map, such as selecting certain area, leaving feedback.

Exceptions

  • E1: The user selects a region which is not supported by the system.

  • E2: A failure in retrieving traffic data for Norway from the API.

Result

  • User is able to access real-time traffic information of Norway.
  • User could apply all the features on the Norway Map.

Use frequency

  • When the user is curious about the traffic situation in Norway.

Additional information

  • User feedback is expected to be collected.
